"Cottage was quaint, neat, clean and tidy. Loved the reindeer, emu and pony over the fence to greet us every time. We attended a wedding locally, so the cottage was just what we wanted, affordable and value for money. It was a hot weekend, so it was great to cool off in the pool." - R.R.
"We had a great time. The hosts were very friendly. We totally enjoyed the meals and the massages were great." - C.L.
“Just a note to say thank you for the superb value accommodation at Watagan Retreat. It is outstanding for the price and a true heaven for those that love peace and nature. We felt a lump in the throat when walking down the steps to leave as Eric (resident emu) and Bambi (resident deer) were just standing there staring at us as if to say "are you going?". It is a shame the kookaburra’s weren’t around but the cockatoos and galahs made up for it, along with the butcher bird and magpies in the garden ... it was a joy to hear the frogs having a party. The bed is top class too which is nice”- M & C
